BREATHING SERIES

This series of sculptures utilizes artificial breathing mechanisms to simulate perfectly the natural rise and fall of a resting breath. Encased within dead or moribund everyday objects, there is no sound except for the materials, moving against themselves. The works were developed over a 7 year period, with engineering technology from the film, auto and aerospace industries. Awarded Celeste Prize in 2009 & exhibiting globally for last 12 years.
